Big Bend Association of Fundraising Professionals

The membership of the Big Bend AFP represents those individuals whose professional lives are dedicated to the furtherance of philanthropy in our community, our state and our nation.

As a member-driven organization, we want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with our local Association of Fundraising Professionals, as well as let others know about our group and its activities.

The emphasis of our site is on connecting fundraising professionals in the Tallahassee area and providing them with information and opportunities to increase their on-the-job effectiveness.  Look around for information regarding meetings and events, local job opportunities, membership and our board.

Networking Sponsorship Opportunities

 The  Association of Fundraising Professionals – Tallahassee Chapter - is pleased to announce a new Sponsorship Opportunity for business and firms in our community.

We are planning three networking events this year (February 21, April 10 and September 11).  These events are for the AFP members to come together, have a drink or two after work and chat about issues affecting non-profits in the community. 

We are looking for sponsors and hosts for these evenings.  As a host/sponsor for the evening, we are hoping you will be able to provide either the first round of drinks and/or hor’dorves for the group.  We have between 10-20 attendees normally and we would be able to:

Thank you publically at the AFP meeting prior to the event and on all e-mail notices sent to members

List you as a supporter of AFP in the program for The Gala Philanthropy Day in November, 2012

If you are a restaurant or establishment that would like to host AFP on one of these dates, please let me know.  If you would like to sponsor the quarterly Networking evening, it would be a donation to AFP of $250 to help defray the costs for the evening.
