As a member-driven organization, we want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with our local Association of Fundraising Professionals, as well as let others know about our group and its activities.

The emphasis of our site is on connecting fundraising professionals in the Tallahassee area and providing them with information and opportunities to increase their on-the-job effectiveness. Big Bend Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) honors individuals whose remarkable vision, generosity, commitment, dedication, and talent have enhanced the strength and effectiveness of philanthropic endeavors in the Big Bend Region.

The Philanthropy Day 2008 will be held on Wednesday, November 12 at the University Center Club. Our featured speaker will be Mr. Tom Kelly, Jr., Evaluation Manager of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The Annie E. Casey Foundation is one of the largest private foundation in the U.S. with over $3 billion in assets. Tom will share his knowledge on critical issues of family, workforce demands, and future societal changes.
